About the Role:

The Homemaker/Companion plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance within their homes. This position focuses on providing companionship, support, and assistance with daily living activities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The primary goal is to foster independence while offering emotional support and social interaction to clients. By engaging in meaningful conversations and activities, the Homemaker/Companion helps to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation. Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in first aid and CPR.
Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
Knowledge of basic household management and meal planning.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through engaging conversations and activities.
Assist clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
