Director of Admissions & Marketing

Fishkill Assisted Living – Fishkill, NYFull-Time

Fishkill Assisted Living is seeking an energetic, motivated, and results-driven Director of Admissions & Marketing to lead our admissions, sales, and community outreach efforts. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving census growth, developing strong referral relationships, and creating an exceptional experience for prospective residents and their families.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong relationship builder who understands senior living and knows how to turn inquiries and referrals into successful move-ins.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry through move-in.
Respond promptly to new leads and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective residents and families.
Conduct professional tours and effectively communicate the benefits and services offered by Fishkill Assisted Living.
Develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies designed to increase referrals, admissions, and overall occupancy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, rehabilitation centers, home care agencies, senior organizations, community organizations, and other referral sources.
Conduct regular external marketing visits throughout Fishkill and the surrounding Hudson Valley market.
Develop new referral sources and strengthen relationships with existing partners.
Coordinate with nursing and administration to review prospective residents and facilitate timely admissions.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective residents and ensure consistent follow-up until a decision is reached.
Track leads, tours, referrals, conversions, move-ins, lost leads, and referral sources.
Develop action plans to improve conversion rates and achieve established census and occupancy goals.
Represent Fishkill Assisted Living at networking events, community events, health fairs, and other outreach opportunities.
Assist with open houses and other events designed to increase community awareness.
Participate in census and leadership meetings and provide updates regarding leads, admissions, marketing activity, and upcoming opportunities.
Work closely with the Executive Director and other department heads to ensure each new resident has a smooth and welcoming move-in experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare admissions, sales, marketing, or business development strongly preferred.
Proven ability to generate leads, build referral relationships, and achieve occupancy or sales goals.
Strong sales, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
Ability to establish relationships with healthcare professionals, families, and community partners.
Self-motivated, outgoing, professional, and goal-oriented.
Comfortable being accountable for admissions and census results.
Experience with CRM or lead-tracking systems preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community outreach.
