Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Secretary/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to handle a variety of clerical and customer service tasks. Your energy and efficiency will help foster a productive workplace, enabling our team to focus on achieving outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Answer phone inquiries promptly, and direct calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, maintaining up-to-date records in spreadsheets and database systems such as Sage.
Handle front desk duties, greet visitors warmly, and provide exceptional customer support to clients and guests.
Organize and maintain office files, correspondence, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings to optimize team productivity.
Proofread documents for clarity and accuracy while ensuring all communications adhere to professional standards.
Payroll processing and record keeping, including prevailing wages.
Accounts Payable processing and record keeping.
Become a notary for inhouse needs.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with strong computer literacy skills.
Experience with office management software such as Sage or similar accounting tools.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong typing skills with high accuracy for data entry and word processing tasks.
Demonstrated experience in clerical work, customer service, and front desk operations.
Effective time management skills coupled with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
