Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tax Associate and become a vital contributor to our financial operations! In this energetic role, you will support the preparation and review of tax filings, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and assist in developing financial models that drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex tax landscapes while maintaining adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards. Duties

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Assist in the development of financial models to support mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, and other strategic initiatives.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial data using spreadsheets and financial software to identify opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.
Support auditing processes by verifying financial records and ensuring adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation, clarify tax obligations, and communicate complex financial information clearly.
Stay informed on industry knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and changes in financial compliance requirements.
Contribute to projects related to financial regulatory compliance and assist in implementing best practices for tax accounting processes.

Experience

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on tax accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for analysis and modeling purposes.
Familiarity with financial software tools used for tax preparation, accounting, and compliance management.
Demonstrated understanding of GAAP standards and industry-specific financial regulations.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
Effective project management abilities to handle multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Exceptional client communication skills to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
