Delta King seeking a skilled Sou Chef to join our team. As a Sou Chef, you will report and assist the Executive Chef. Sou Chef is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the kitchen, creating innovative dishes, and ensuring high-quality food production. If you are passionate about culinary arts and have a flair for creativity, we would love to have you on board.

Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus and develop new recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or catering services

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sou Chef or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills

Required/Nice-to-have Skills:
- Food handling
- Food safety
- Food management

- Restaurant management/ Kitchen Management

Required- 4-5 years experience in Fine Dinning/ Upscale Restaurant a MUST

Required- Excellent Communication

Required- 2 years of supervising and training kitchen staff- Required.

Culinary experience preferred

Must be very reliable, dependable, energetic.

MUST have 4 or more years of Sauté, Grilling and Pantry experience this is a MUST.
