Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Able to work according to tight production schedules

· Mixing and scaling ingredients to prepare a wide variety of baked goods offered through Crust including pies, cookies, layered pastries, cakes, and other pastries.

· Follow traditional as well as modern recipes for the wide variety of products offered through Crust

· Cleaning bakery machinery and equipment as well as storage and preparation areas

· Accurately following recipe formulas and weighing ingredients

· MUST have extraordinary attention to detail

· Works safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils

· Create precise and consistent products

Knowledge and Abilities Required:

Experience with pastries or culinary certification related to pastry preferred but not required.

· Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

· Must have availability that flexible and includes mornings and holiday seasons

· Must be teamwork-oriented and able to work alongside others in a cohesive team environment

· Must be highly energetic and able to move quickly in a fast-paced production environment

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be comfortable with repetitive motion of the hands and wrists.
