Position Overview

We are seeking Doctors of Optometry for a Float Position providing weekend coverage (Saturday and/or Sunday) and possibly weekdays for several thriving primary care practices in the Dayton, OH area. Location

Dayton, Ohio (Multiple Locations). This float position serves various established, high-traffic practices throughout the Dayton metropolitan area. These locations provide a consistent patient base and a professional clinical environment across the region.

To support this, we provide a comprehensive operational structure—including billing, marketing, and patient pre-screening—so you can focus on what matters most: patient health. The practice environment is energetic, professional, and equipped with modern technology. We provide a turnkey clinical setting, ensuring you can step in and deliver high-quality care at any of our Dayton-area locations.

What You’ll Be Working On

Providing full-scope primary care optometry to a diverse patient population on weekends.
Delivering high-quality eye care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Utilizing provided ancillary business support to ensure a seamless and efficient patient flow across different sites.
Focusing on clinical excellence while utilizing provided patient pre-screening and technical support.
Contributing to a practice culture that values professional integrity and exceptional service.

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
Valid Optometry License in the state of Ohio.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for primary care optometry.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within various supportive team environments.
Availability to provide consistent coverage on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
