Position Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the community. This role oversees all functional areas including resident care, marketing, food service, nursing, business office/HR, and maintenance, ensuring high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Leadership & Development
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of qualified staff across all departments.
Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture characterized by high morale and team engagement.
Performance Management
Directly supervise department managers; provide coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Controlling OT and labor as required.
Conduct regular management and all-staff meetings to ensure alignment and communication.
Employee Engagement
Drive employee motivation through recognition programs, incentives, and open communication.
Proactively address and resolve employee grievances to maintain a productive work environment.
Workforce Planning
Review and manage staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage and adherence to budget.
Ensure staff duties align with community policies and quality standards.
Communication & Coordination
Serve as a liaison between the ownership and the community team to maintain transparency and consistency.
Monitor operational documentation for accuracy and timely completion.
Community Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and local organizations.
Represent the community at public events, family functions, and open houses.
Resident Services Oversight
Address and resolve resident or family concerns; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
Support the planning and review of resident care plans in accordance with state regulations.
Facility Management & Safety
Ensure buildings and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and monthly fire drills.
Compliance & Documentation
Oversee and maintain accurate resident records and care documentation.
Ensure all admissions, screenings, and care plans are completed per policy and state requirements.
Healthcare Management
Supervise healthcare delivery and medication administration policies.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to train staff and audit medication records.
Training & Development
Provide ongoing education for care staff through structured training, in-services, and on-the-job coaching.
Monitor and support compliance with clinical and operational best practices.
Regulatory Reporting
Oversee all state-reportable incidents managed by the Director of Nursing to ensure timely and accurate submission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
