Full Job Description

Recovery Defined, a growing behavioral health company located in Lebanon, Ohio, is seeking a qualified full-time Clinical Director - Behavioral Health to provide support and mentorship at our locations in Warren, Montgomery and Butler Counties. This individual will provide leadership to the mental health counseling and substance use disorder staff by monitoring services and guidance during determining treatment, individual and group therapy sessions, and case management activities.

Ideal applicants will be driven to produce a high performing team focused on excellent clinical care to patients at all locations. This position serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team to support the agency's treatment philosophy and ensure the well-being of the patients and staff.

Recovery Defined’s Clinical Director requires an active Ohio LISW or LPCC.

This position is Monday through Friday with a typical working hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 PM and can be located at the Dayton location.

Assistant Clinical Director Requirements:

Master's Degree
Active Ohio LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or LPCC-S

Position Responsibilities:

Supervises all clinical staff
Hold a caseload of up to 20 individuals for mental health services.
Conduct clinical training at agency for all staff
Shares responsibility for planning, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate treatment plans
Conducts assessments as needed, signs off on MH assessments as assigned
Become a “super user” in Patagonia being able to train new hires
Updates assessment and discharge stats using excel
Sign off clinical documents in the electronic health record, notes, treatment plans, assessments, discharges
Complete a weekly report out form to Chief Executive Officer
Research new programming ideas for implementation and effectiveness
Oversee case reviews held at each site for clinical appropriateness
Understand and assist with staff utilization across the different disciplines
Fill in clinically where needed or at times of positions becoming vacant
Attend management meetings
Grant research and writing
Records all information concisely, accurately, and completely
Responds professionally and appropriately in crisis situations
Recognizes and responds appropriately to priorities in assignments; performs routine assignments independently; seeks direction when indicated for unusual or non-routine duties; and advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring expertise or technical follow-up
Attends in-service training and participates in other educational activities as required
Performs other duties as assigned or requested
