Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization:
- Safely operate on a production line according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Read and understand the Daily Production Schedule
- Identify and report bottlenecks or mechanical malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance teams immediately to minimize downtime
- Learn multiple stations or equipment types to provide relief and maintain line flexibility. Read and understand the Daily Production Schedule
- Actively participate in team meetings and share great ideas to reduce waste or improve workflow
- Execute the correct stacking procedure to maximize safety and security of storage
- Maintain stringent record keeping, facilitating accurate counts and measurements
- Complete pre-production set-ups and post-production processes
- Execute the correct stacking procedure to maximize safety and security of storage
- Identify and use the correct packaging requirement
- Understand and operate production equipment correctly (pallet jack, capper/sealer, labeler, taping machine, box printer)
Quality and Safety Ownership:
- Perform regular quality checks throughout the workday to ensure quality standards
- Isolate or remove faulty products from the line to maintain high brand standards
- Identify and report bottlenecks or mechanical malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance teams immediately to minimize downtime
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assist with daily clean-up in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Comply with all company food safety/personal hygiene policies
- Understand and follow all General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Key Physical and Professional Requirements
- Being able to repeatedly lift up to fifty pounds

- Basic math and computer skills
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or GED and 1+ years in manufacturing or production operation a plus but not required.
