Job Summary:
Panasonic is seeking a Payroll Coordinator, reporting to the Sr HR Systems Manager. This role supports the timekeeping administration and pre-payroll process for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for the Gigafactory in Kansas, with primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and employees are paid accurately and on time. Essential Duties:

Ensure timecards are complete, accurate and ready for payroll processing in preparation for the bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls. Includes both exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple states.

Manage workflow to ensure all pre-payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

Run daily, weekly and per pay period timekeeping reports to support HR partners and production leadership for proactive data accuracy in the timekeeping system.

Audit and reconcile time keeping system to ensure compliance with company policy and procedure.
- Ensure compliance with payroll audits.

Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate preprocess reports to ensure accurate processing of data changes.

Manage and respond to employee payroll-related tickets through the internal ticketing system, providing accurate information and timely resolutions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Support the off-cycle payroll process for supplemental bonuses, incentives, relocation, and long-term incentives as required.

Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Continuously innovate timekeeping and payroll solutions and process improvement.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associates degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Essential Qualifications:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Minimum of 3 years experience processing payroll or experience with a timekeeping system for 1000+ employees
Preferred Qualifications:

Manufacturing or related experience preferred

Experience with Workday preferred but not required

Demonstrated comfort in multi-national environments.

Clear prioritization to advance efforts on multiple fronts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel with the ability to perform advanced data analysis and reporting
