Full Job Description

A Boutique electro-mechanical manufacturer has an immediate opening in our Materials group for a Hand on Purchasing Agent who enjoys working in a small company’s fast-paced environment. As a senior member of the management team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Your responsibilities will be managing the Material team, with full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of purchasing and material control; including identifying potential sources, quotations, negotiations, creating purchase orders. This position requires supervision of all aspects of the supplier relationship including annual cost savings targets and development of supplier/commodity strategies.

A thorough understanding of purchasing electronic components is a plus.

This position offers unlimited growth potential with a progressive company. A very competitive starting salary with an excellent benefit package; including health insurance, 401K participation, and potential bonus awaits the right candidate.

Ideal background includes 15 years of experience in Purchasing/Material Control and a bachelor’s degree in business administration/ supply chain management.
