Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the food service operation such as inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Pay Rate: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Shift Timing: 5:00 PM-1:00 AM

Essential Functions

Ensures daily tasks (work assignments and break schedules) for cashiers, food service workers and other union team members in your work area.
Conducts pre-shift meetings/huddles according to Aramark standards.
Ensure completion of required forms, including but not limited to production sheets, prep sheets and temp logs.
Assists in oversight of proper opening and closing of work area, including but not limited to cleaning, proper storage of food and food prep.
Oversees the completion of all tasks assigned to union team members including but not limited to cashiers, food service workers and other union members.
Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Under direction of the manager, resolves union member issues/conflicts
Completes daily shift communication report and ensures.
Participates in the disciplinary process of union team members.
Trains and guides union team members on proper uniform and hygiene policy and practices.
Ensures proper personal protective equipment is issued and used by team members.
Completes monthly inventory
Guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
Ensures security of company assets
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred
Previous food service experience required
Must be able to obtain food safety certification
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
