Full Job Description

The rate of starting pay is dependent upon experience, credentials and employment status (full/part-time). If this position is in your field of interest/education, Applied Behavioral Concepts will assist in providing professional development training for the credentials to become a registered behavior technician, crisis management training, CPR/BLS, and quality training for the implementation of services. Additionally, we provide paid supervision for employees who also become student analysts as an additional professional development benefit.

v Responsible for working with children and young adults in an inclusive environment, school, home setting, community, or individual setting. All technicians will be trained in behavior management techniques to meet the needs of all students.

v Demonstrate the ability to use ABA principles and methods to promote learning, including individualized instruction, problem-solving assignments, social skills, and small group work.

v Responsible for implementing ABA and behavioral therapeutic staff to adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to meet the needs of students with disabilities.

v Attends and participates in meetings, training, and community events. Occasional overtime may be required.

v RBTs follow and support the policies and procedures of the company and operate within their areas of expertise in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the BACB.

v Demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for themselves and others.

v Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.

v Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with various technology including word processing software and data collection databases.

v Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment.

v Our environment is fast-paced multi-tasking oriented requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Must be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius on either a regular basis or on occasion when scheduling changes occur. Travel reimbursement will be calculated on time travel from this center and return to this center when afternoon clients are scheduled.

v The physical demands on the job are equivalent to those that must be met by any adult working with children with behavioral challenges to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

v Employee must have medical clearance from a physician.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
