Machine Operator Position Overview:

Our operators work on a wide variety of custom fabricated pressure vessels while working within a stable, predictable work schedule

Operator Responsibilities & Duties:

Operators roll plate in a variety of sizes including 3/16" thick up to 1" thick with up to 120" diameter
Welding experience is preferred
Experience preferred includes set-up and operation of brake press
Operators with experience with 1/2" sheer a plus
Work independently based on job specifications
Willingness to attain competency (we train) in:
Plasma cutting
Attaining the ability to read blueprints
Plate Lay-out
Attaining applicable weld certifications if needed
Attaining a basic understanding of applicable ASME Codes
Ability to operate within the company’s quality control system * Work collaboratively with teammates
Perform all work safely - be Safety Focused

Operator Qualifications & Skills:

Previous work experience with plate rolling, brake press operation, shear operation, plasma cutting, and welding experience
Experience welding within an ASME Code environment, high desirable
Demonstrated skills welding pressure vessels, large structural products or equivalent, highly desirable
A track record for dependability
Has basic skills in math and reading
Is a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
