Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operations with energy and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning, sanitation, and staff supervision to ensure our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold safety regulations, and foster a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated manager with extensive custodial experience and a passion for team management to make a significant impact.

Duties

Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and high-quality service delivery
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and sanitation procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry standards
Oversee industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including deep cleans, laundry services, and specialized sanitation projects
Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence
Monitor cleanliness levels across all areas, conducting inspections to maintain compliance with hygiene standards
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes
Enforce safety regulations and ensure team adherence to health protocols to create a safe working environment
Provide managerial communication to motivate staff, resolve issues promptly, and foster a collaborative team atmosphere

Qualifications

Proven experience in custodial work, commercial or industrial cleaning, with a strong background in housekeeping management
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team supervision and leadership skills
Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management within hospitality or similar settings
Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills for effective team supervision and customer service interactions
Experience in laundry operations and janitorial services preferred
Ability to lead by example while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance
Previous experience managing staff in a hospitality or institutional environment is highly desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
