Full Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Private Residence Manager to oversee the year-round care and operation of a private lakefront residence. This is primarily a management and coordination role, but the ideal candidate should have enough basic maintenance knowledge to identify issues, perform minor repairs, and appropriately direct vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the general upkeep of the residence and property, including coordinating cleaning, preventive maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
Perform minor hands-on repairs when appropriate.
Ensuring the property is secure and all safety systems are functioning.
Managing household supplies and running errands as needed.
Working with vendors, to include obtaining bids, and managing scheduling
Occasionally gardening and landscaping tasks such as trimming hedges and caring for plants.
Occasionally assisting with special events or hosting guests.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have an extremely flexible schedule and be readily available.
Knowledge of boats, helpful but not mandatory.
Previous experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.
Basic repair skills for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
