Full Job Description

TDLR-Certified Court Education Instructor

New Direction is seeking qualified, TDLR-certified instructors to join our growing team and facilitate virtual court-ordered education programs throughout Texas.

Positions Available

DWI Education Instructor
DWI Intervention Instructor
Alcohol Education Program for Minors (AEPM) Instructor
Drug Offender Education Program (DOEP) Instructor

Responsibilities

Facilitate assigned virtual classes in accordance with TDLR requirements and approved curriculum.
Create a professional, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Maintain accurate attendance and required course documentation.
Communicate professionally with participants and New Direction staff.
Ensure all required curriculum components and instructional hours are completed.
Follow applicable TDLR standards, program policies, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Current TDLR instructor certification for the course(s) you wish to teach is required.
Strong communication and group facilitation skills.
Comfortable facilitating classes virtually.
Reliable internet access and ability to use virtual meeting platforms.
Experience working with court-involved, substance-use, or behavioral-health populations is preferred.
Must maintain all certifications and credentials required for the assigned program.

Position Details

Virtual/Remote
Participants located throughout Texas
Flexible class opportunities based on program scheduling
Contract/1099 opportunity
Instructors may be considered for one or multiple programs based on their current TDLR certifications.

Join New Direction and help participants successfully complete court-required education while providing a professional, respectful, and supportive learning experience.

Pay: $400.00 - $2,000.00 per month
