Director of Marketing – Internal focus, + Paid Social Media, Internal Communications, & Event Planning.

LOCATION: Des Moines, Iowa and travel throughout the state of Iowa -approximately 25% of the time
Seeking a bold, strategic, visible, & hands-on Director of Marketing to lead marketing, branding, communications, and event strategy. If you’re energized by leading enterprise-wide campaigns, elevating brand identity, driving digital marketing, and planning standout events, make a visible difference! High-impact, thrive on building strong brands, creating meaningful employee engagement, delivering marketing initiatives that move the business. Help shape the voice, image, and experience of an entire organization with multiple brands

What You’ll Do
As the Director of Marketing, you will provide leadership for marketing initiatives that strengthen the organization’s brands, support business development efforts, enhance employee engagement, and ensure a consistent brand identity across all operating companies.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall marketing, branding, communications, and event strategy
Drive internal marketing initiatives that engage and inform employees
Plan and execute all major company events
Manage budget for company events etc
Oversee digital marketing strategy and execution
Champion brand management and ensure consistency across all business units
Partner with leadership to support business development and growth initiatives
Develop compelling messaging and communications that strengthen company culture and market presence via publications, newsletters, weekly email communications, company surveys, and Intranet.
Paid Media Metrics & ability to report on metrics.
Ensure a unified, polished brand experience across channels, audiences, and operating companies

Proven success in a senior-level marketing leadership role
Strong background in brand strategy, digital marketing, communications, and major event & meeting planning
Direct management experience to lead a small team
Compelling writing skills to compose external company newsletters and weekly employee engagement communications.
Strategically think
creative, business-minded leader who can build momentum and drive results
