Full Job Description

Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: Norwalk, IA

Join Produce Innovations as a Full Time Inventory Clerk. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 5 locations. Loffredo Fresh Foods believes that our employees are the key to a successful future. As a Inventory Clerk, you will managed inventory control, production planning, procurement, and monthly cycle counts while analyzing inventory levels, coordinating with purchasing and vendors, resolving inventory discrepancies, tracking work-in-process, ensuring timely material availability, monitoring manufacturing performance, and collaborating across departments to optimize production efficiency, control costs, and meet production schedules. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, receive/unload inbound freight, and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help maintain the high standards of service our customers expect.

Pay: $25

Schedule:

4AM to 1 PM
Days Off – Saturday & Sunday
Working – Monday thru Friday

What we look for:

Previous inventory – shipping and receiving experience with manufacturations preferred but no required
Warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred
Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to take direction from all levels of management
Ability to work independently within a team setting

What you’ll do:

SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operation warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
Receive/Unload inbound freight and put away
Accurately select and pack orders for shipment, both internally and externally
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
All other assigned duties
