Who are we looking for?

At GHD we are looking for a new Graduate Scientist to join our Data Analytics & Insights team at any of our US offices. This role will assist in the development and implementation of client-focused digital tools to support various environmental projects, including remediation efforts, site investigations, and data analysis.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and test digital tools and workflows.
Analyze environmental data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform project decisions.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative digital solutions.
Document project progress and prepare reports on digital tool performance and findings.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial, analytical, and remediation technology and software.
Manage project budgets, cost estimations, and billing processes.

What you will bring to the Team

Education

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Requirements

0-5 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or similar field.
Understanding of remediation-related software, data management, and data analysis techniques.
Familiarity with programming languages like Python, R, or JavaScript.

Nice to have:

Field work experience (sampling, drilling, site assessment, etc.)
Survey123 development experience.
Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, QGIS, or ArcGIS Online experience is a plus.
