Full Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of school-aged children. This role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a fulfilling experience working with students in grades K-12 across a diverse caseload.

You'll be part of a supportive school environment that values collaborative teamwork and innovative approaches to student support. Your impact will be tangible, as you help children build communication skills essential for their academic and social success.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Current, valid SLPA credential or certification as required by the state
Experience or genuine interest in working with children in educational settings
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to the needs of a varied student caseload
Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and a collaborative spirit
Familiarity with IEPs and treatment plan implementation is a plus

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Assist in developing and implementing therapy activities tailored to individual student goals
Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions about student progress and support strategies
Support communication between students, families, and educational staff
Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all learners
