Job Title: Front Desk Agent / ReceptionistJob Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Motel 6. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and hassle-free check-in experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy interacting with diverse groups of people, and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace, we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Registration: Greet guests warmly, process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and assign rooms using the property management system.
Customer Support: Answer phone calls with excellent telephone etiquette, handle reservations, answer guest inquiries about property policies (including our pet-friendly guidelines), and provide local directions or recommendations.
Payment Processing: Securely and accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and direct billings. Issue receipts and manage shift audits/drop procedures.
Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or room complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Lobby & Workspace Care: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Coordinate closely with housekeeping/Laundry and maintenance teams regarding room status and immediate guest needs.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all Motel 6 brand standards, safety protocols, and guest privacy policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in hotel front desk operations, customer service, or retail is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
Skills: Strong basic math and computer skills; experience with hotel property management software (PMS) is a major plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of professional phone etiquette.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, night audits weekends, and holidays as hospitality demands.
Attributes: A positive attitude, strong reliability, and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure.
Bilingual Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Schedule & Pay

Job Type: Part-time 3 days a week [more days as needed]
Pay Range: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour (Adjust based on your final budget)
Expected Hours: Alternating shifts & Night audits including weekends/holidays.
Location: 1024 W Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78596,.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
