Job Summary

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

$16.00/hr.

We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Sausage Packer fluent in English and Spanish to join our food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing sausages in a fast-paced environment, ensuring product quality, food safety, and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with a focus on meat products and packaging standards. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic food industry setting, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Carefully pack sausages according to specified weight and packaging guidelines, maintaining consistency and quality standards.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
Operate packaging machinery efficiently and perform routine equipment checks to prevent disruptions.
Assist in meat cutting and preparation processes when necessary, utilizing knife skills and culinary experience.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Label packages accurately with product information, expiration dates, and bilingual labels in English and Spanish.
Collaborate with team members to meet production quotas while upholding safety and quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and report shortages promptly.
Support food preparation tasks as needed within the kitchen environment.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that packaged products meet customer expectations for quality.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food production, food handling, or kitchen environments preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
Experience with meat cutting, sausage making, or culinary preparation is advantageous.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication.
Ability to operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in cold environment 40F
