Position: Mobile Phlebotomist

Location: Shepeard Community Blood Center
Serving the Dublin, Georgia area, including Laurens and Twiggs Counties

What You'll Do

Prepare for Success - Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient blood drives.
Collect Life-Saving Donations - Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture procedures with confidence and care.
Support Donors - Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed.
Create a Positive Experience - Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and fellow team members.

What We're Looking For

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required
Previous medical field experience is preferred

Skills

Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer and clerical proficiency
Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds

Preferred Certifications

Phlebotomy Certification
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
