Full Job Description

Direct report: Music Coordinator
Indirectly Reports to: Academy Manager
Job Category: Part-time, Non-exempt, hourly

Vision: To create and foster world-class art and artists that inspire Columbus and beyond.
Mission: To entertain, engage and educate through dance.

Perform skilled work involving specialized musicianship in support of ballet classes. Classes would include ballet technique and pointe classes for all ages.

Responsibilities

Advanced piano playing
Sight reading and improvisational skills needed
Thorough knowledge of piano repertoire
Broad knowledge of musical styles
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty and staff
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Ability to represent BalletMet in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays at our downtown Columbus location and our Worthington location.
