Float Pharmacist (Full-Time or Part Time)

Hartig Drug is seeking a motivated, patient-focused, and team-oriented Full-Time or Part Time Float Pharmacist to join our outstanding pharmacy team. This position provides pharmacist coverage at various Hartig Drug pharmacy locations within a designated geographic region, allowing you to enjoy variety in your work while building relationships with patients and pharmacy teams across our communities.

As a Float Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, promoting wellness, and ensuring safe and effective medication therapy. You will also help maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations while supporting our mission of providing personalized healthcare in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

Provide professional pharmacy services in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
Counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, immunizations, and wellness programs.
Ensure safe and effective medication therapy while promoting positive patient outcomes.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff.
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Travel to assigned Hartig Drug pharmacy locations within the designated service area to provide pharmacist coverage.
Build positive relationships with patients, providers, and team members.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Current pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the applicable state(s).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.
Ability to travel between assigned pharmacy locations.
