Full Job Description

The Co-Op Sales Manager plays a critical role in delivering the company’s strategic and annual financial plans by driving sales growth and building strong, long-term industry and customer relationships across both the Juvenile Products (Baby) and Toy categories. This position is responsible for developing, presenting, and executing sales strategies; planning and forecasting business performance; generating sales and orders with both existing and new customers; and identifying growth opportunities through trade shows, industry events, and ongoing customer engagement. The Co-Op Sales Manager will work closely with customer-facing functional teams to ensure alignment, effectively respond to customer needs and requests, and consistently deliver a positive customer experience. This position requires approximately 25–30% travel for customer visits, line reviews, and trade shows/events.

Experience: 3 – 5 years of sales experience preferred. Experience in selling into a retail sales channel, toy industry experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
Establish and build positive relationships with clients
Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
Acquiring new business using existing and potential customer networks
Create and execute account strategies
Drive brand and corporate initiatives within your accounts
Develop and execute curated account strategies to drive incremental placement
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
Identify and track key performance indicators to measure business success for each account, review and ensure ongoing productivity and profitability of the retailer assortment
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Collaborate with our internal teams on merchandising, programs, and initiatives to drive sales and future growth
Coordinate with internal resources on custom products, availability, order flow, order issues, promotional materials, etc. (interfacing with product development, logistics, demand planning, marketing)

Skills Required:

Must be an exceptional communicator, verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Team player, collaborative, organizationally aware, results focused, growth mindset
Evidence of success in driving sales, achieving sales objectives, and overcoming customer objections
Strong analytical/math skills, adept at using Excel & PowerPoint
