We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team! In this role, you’ll provide in-depth financial analyses, develop operating and financial metrics, and support key strategic initiatives that drive financial accountability and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Assist in comprehensive financial analyses of business performance and corporate activities.
Analyze performance and forecasts for corporate lines of business.
Assist in the consolidation of corporate results for use in management reports and presentations.
Prepare and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.
Assist in Budget, forecast, analysis, and report on key corporate expenses including payroll, revenue, direct costs, and overhead costs.
Prepare quarterly Board of Directors presentations and support shareholder reporting.
Maintain financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics.
Perform ad hoc analysis and deep dives into expenses to support systemic improvements.

Corporate Projects & Strategic Initiatives

Execute corporate projects of a strategic and financial nature, partnering with business unit management and other corporate teams (AR, AP, Maintenance, Tax, Risk Management, Purchasing, and Accounting).
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to improve operational excellence and drive systemic improvements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial performance through studies and process improvements.
Support implementation of corporate policies and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

Conduct analyses and create presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.
Mentor and train junior analysts or team members.
Build strong relationships across finance and business unit teams.
Enhance departmental reputation by taking ownership of projects and delivering value-added insights.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. OR 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience
1+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or project management experience preferred.
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with financial systems/reporting tools.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with strong organization, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
Able to work independently, manage projects, and collaborate across departments.
Must be able to work at both company locations: Berryville, VA and Martinsburg, WV.
