CNC Machinist / Set Up Operator — Alpharetta, GA

Pay: $27.00–$33.00 per hour
Job Type: Full‑time, Direct Hire
Location: Alpharetta, GA (In‑person)
Relocation: Employer‑provided relocation package available

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Set Up Operator to support high‑volume precision manufacturing. This role includes 10–15% programming and 85–90% CNC setup/operation, along with setup and operation of cam‑driven (non‑CNC) equipment.

Key Responsibilities

CNC setup & operation
Basic CNC programming
Tooling & equipment management
Quality checks & inspections
Maintain safe operations following all safety procedures
Produce high‑quality parts that meet EPS standards

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CNC programming and operation in a production environment
Familiarity with Fanuc controls
Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology
Mechanical skills for automating feeding systems (vibratory bowls, rails, etc.)
Ability to set up and operate cam‑driven (non‑CNC) equipment
Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools
Strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork, listening, and communication skills
Highly proactive, innovative, and self‑driven
Strong technical machining skills

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of Miyano, Towa, Brown & Sharpe, Acme Gridley, Takamaz, or Takisawa machines
Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑production cold heading facility

Work Schedule

1st & 2nd Shifts Available

1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm
2nd Shift: Mon–Thur, 4pm–2am & Fri, 2pm–12am
Schedule: 10‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday, no weekends

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Pay: $27.00–$33.00 per hour

This position is open to both local applicants and experienced candidates nationwide. EPS offers an employer‑provided relocation package for qualified non‑local hires.
