Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Civil/Structural CAD Designer II to join our team.
This individual will be responsible for creation and/or modification and implementation of facilities related and controls drawings with direction from Engineers. Designer will be responsible to create bidding and construction documents for client from inception to final Issued for BID and/or Issued for Construction. Projects will be multi-disciplined covering civil, mechanical, and electrical works and Designer will need to work with other disciplines to integrate and coordinate electrical deliverable with other team disciplines. Responsible for the successful delivery of each project through management of internal staff and strong management of change.
The CAD Designer II will apply practical knowledge of their job area which is typically obtained through an advanced education and work experience. This individual will work independently with general supervision.
Education, Certifications/Licenses, Experience

A.A.S. Degree in Structural/Civil drafting and design or relevant background
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Advanced skillset in Autodesk 3D products (Revit, Civil 3D, CADworx, Navisworks, etc.)
Physical Requirements and Demands:
The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation. Routinely use standard office equipment such as but not limited to: computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.

Lake Superior Consulting offers a competitive compensation package. The actual starting salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including your skills, experience, and office/market location. The anticipated range for this position is $31 - $42 per hour.
