Job Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassion and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and patients. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care during overnight hours, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals across various care settings. Responsibilities

Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and accurately document medical information using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health management.
Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols, proper catheter care, and utilizing appropriate PPE.
Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent needs during overnight shifts, including basic life support (BLS) procedures.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care in settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or assisted living communities.

Experience

Prior experience working in medical-surgical units, ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms.
Experience caring for individuals with complex needs including infectious disease care, post-acute care, or behavioral health is preferred.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient service best practices enhances your ability to provide top-tier care.
Background in geriatrics, hospice care, pediatric or neonatal settings adds valuable insight into diverse patient populations.
Certification in basic life support (BLS) and familiarity with medical documentation standards are required for success in this role.
