Full Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food service operations within our facility. This includes menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations.

Duties:

Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
Coordinate and supervise the preparation and serving of meals
Ensure compliance with all dietary guidelines, regulations, and safety standards
Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
Train and supervise dietary staff members
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Maintain accurate records of dietary services

Schedule Cooks to fill shifts as needed for position.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry or healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of nutrition guidelines and dietary requirements
Proficiency in using software for managing food service operations
Experience in menu planning, cooking, and catering
Excellent interviewing, leadership, and hospitality management skills
Culinary background or certification is a plus
