We're looking for an FAA-certified Part 107 drone pilot with writing experience to help script our drone YouTube channel, courses, and social media content.
Extensive drone knowledge will be required.
This is a contract role, meaning you will have full autonomy over your schedule and can work asynchronously and remotely.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with our Head of Production and Head of Training.
- Briefing our graphic designers for more complex technical posts.
- Writing scripts with visual guides.
- Writing various types of content, such as emails, articles, and social descriptions.
- Attending occasional meetings.

- Available at least 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) and able to respond within 24 hours.
- Ability to attend occasional meetings (usually fewer than four a month).
- Experience with Asana, Slack, Google Meet, Google Docs, and Loom, or a willingness to learn on your own time.
Please submit your writing portfolio with relevant examples and use "Drone" as the first word in your application.
If you do not have writing examples, consider writing a script for a 60 second short on the difference between recreational flying vs. when you need a Part 107 certificate.
