Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Physician to join our growing practice. This position offers an established referral base with a steady flow of patients from internal and external providers, providing immediate clinical volume while allowing the physician the flexibility to develop and expand OMM services based on their interests and expertise.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on osteopathic care, collaborative practice, and building innovative musculoskeletal and wellness programs that enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using osteopathic principles and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT).
Manage patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pain syndromes, functional disorders, and related complaints.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide patient education regarding osteopathic treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care planning.
Cultivate referrals by reaching out to community physician practices

Established Referral Base

Immediate access to a built-in referral network from primary care and specialty providers.
Consistent patient volume from existing referral relationships.
Administrative support to facilitate scheduling and patient coordination.

Opportunity for Program Development

The position offers significant potential to expand services, including:

Sports medicine, injections and performance optimization programs.
Women's health and pregnancy-related OMT services.
Headache, concussion, and chronic pain management programs.
Integrative and wellness-focused osteopathic services.
Community outreach, education, and physician referral development.

Qualifications

DO degree from an accredited osteopathic medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
Active medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of practice.
Training and demonstrated competency in osteopathic manipulative treatment.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
