Job Description

We’re hiring a Dishwasher & Prep Cook to join our small, ambitious Roman‑style pizza kitchen. This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about food, eager to learn, and interested in growing a long‑term culinary career. You’ll start by building a strong foundation in prep cooking while assisting our pizzaiolo and supporting the back‑of‑house team.

Because we’re a tight‑knit operation, this role works across the board—but your primary focus will be BOH prep and pizza support.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards (sauces, vegetables, cheeses, toppings)
Assist the pizzaiolo with prep, station setup, and service support
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all BOH areas
Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines (FIFO, labeling, proper handling)
Help with additional BOH tasks as needed, including light dish and restocking
Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while staying detail‑oriented
Be a positive, dependable team member in a small kitchen
