Full Job Description

Proudly serve those who served – America’s Veterans need you. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is looking for Laundry Aides to join our team in caring for America’s Heroes. We are a 5-Star, Deficiency Free, Homelike Care Community.

The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls provides compassionate and professional long-term, skilled nursing care to veterans and spouses who cannot be cared for in their homes.

Schedules Available:

Part Time AM Laundry Aide (6a-10a)

As a Housekeeper at the Veterans Home you will:

Collect, sort, and pre-treat soiled linens towels, gowns, and other laundry items according to established protocols and infection control guidelines.
Efficiently operate washers, dryers, and related machinery while adhering to manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.
Apply appropriate stain removal techniques and monitor the quality of laundered items to ensure they meet facility standards.
Accurately fold, organize, and store clean linens, ensuring they are properly distributed to designated departments and areas within the facility.

As the Housekeeper you will possess:

Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services (preferred).
Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
