Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in phone systems, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for the office.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Assist with office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Provide support as a personal assistant when needed, including handling special requests from staff or management.
Utilize computerized systems for scheduling, record keeping, and communication.
Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and bilingual clients to enhance service delivery.
Verify insurance and collect payments
Coordinate with optometrists and other staff for seamless

Qualifications

Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred.
Familiarity with phone systems and strong phone etiquette skills are essential.
Proficient in office management software and computer systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong typing skills for data entry tasks.
Experience as a medical receptionist is a plus but not required.
