Full Job Description

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities: The Facilities Associate is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including cleaning, taking out trash, setting up events, refilling paper products, and organizing.

Specific Duties

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, and equipment.
Initiating the setting up of tables and chairs for various functions.
Working during shows to clean up spills, set up tables and/or stanchions, keeping the public restrooms clean and orderly, including stocking paper towels, toilet paper, and mopping, helping to remove trash and cardboard, and cleaning floors as needed.
Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facilities.
Performing other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic reading skills.
Must be organized and able to follow directions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand their entire shift and often must walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Hand-eye coordination is essential. The employee is regularly exposed to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, humidity, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Other hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, and falls. The employee is frequently required to sustain contact with water and sanitation solutions and is frequently expected to wash their hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Classification: Non Exempt Part Time

Salary: Minimum wage (dependent on experience)
