Full Job Description

Full-time, 40 hours per week, hourly
M – F, days

This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions, with an emphasis on Insurance billing while providing backup support for clinic and phone coverage during busy times. Accounting responsibilities include but not limited to; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment posting and bank deposits. This position will also work closely with employees to ensure payroll reports, time studies, and purchasing documents are complete and turned in and properly filed. Additional responsibilities include resolving time clock discrepancies and tracking employee benefit time. Insurance billing duties include submitting claims using the EMR system, utilizing available resources to prevent claim denials, follow up on, and resolving denied claims and staying current on reimbursement rates and CPT codes.

Qualifications: Associates degree in Accounting or related field, proficient with computers, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, a valid driver’s license, completes annual TB test or assessment and receives recommended vaccinations or have a signed declination form on file.
