Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Master Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pipefitting, welding, and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in both manufacturing and construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for geo- thermal loops
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other equipment for pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Master Pipefitter or in a similar role within construction or manufacturing settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to pipefitting practices.
- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, stick welding; experience with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting tasks.
- Experience with rigging techniques is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- MA master pipefitter license and OSHA certification (Required)
