Jordan/Central Implement

Parts Manager

This position is charged with being a Leader in the company and responsible for the Management of the Parts Department. Courteously and with integrity handles all customer and employee issues. Actively promote, and market the services provided by Jordan/Central Implement Co.

Reports to: Asset Manager

Supervises: Parts Sales, Service Parts Sales, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, and

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for enforcing all Jordan/Central Implement Company policies and procedures
Train, Manage and motivate parts personnel to meet or exceed a high standard of customer service. Create an environment in which parts personnel are self-motivated and responsive to the needs of the parts department.
Select and train motivated staff that is capable of meeting current and projected human resource needs.
Take charge of various personnel matters, including performance reviews (twice per year for each employee), and terminations.
Responsible for the Parts Department meeting or exceeding performance and budget goals set by management.
Maintain and implement systems and documentation for inventory control. Establish procedures that assure quality service at optimum inventory levels and turn ratios as agreed upon or defined by management.
Keep Management informed of the status of all parts operations.
Daily parts orders, weekly & monthly stock orders, store transfers, surplus returns, core returns, warranty and shipping claims for all vendors. Marketing and merchandising of the parts department.
Maintain continuous contact and positive relationships with customers and vendors. Actively promote the quality parts services of the company.
Knowledgeable on the parts systems for all manufacturers represented by the company.
Maintain a close and teamwork environment with other departments and other stores.
Capable of filling in and performing duties for absent employees.
Follow the Parts Managers Responsibilities list for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual responsibilities.
Perform every action with the goal of Customer satisfaction and overall Company profitability.
Perform any other duties assigned for the betterment of Jordan/Central Implement.

Minimum requirements:

Must demonstrate a high degree of organizational and communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense and logic to problem solving.
Person should be neat, friendly and respectful.
An aptitude for arithmetic.
Familiarity with the Agricultural industry.
Provide effective oral and written communications to customers, management and vendors.
Must be PC literate and posses a thorough knowledge of general business operations.
Must be willing to put in 45 – 50 hours/week plus Saturdays.
Willingness to handle after hours calls and carry After Hours phone.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
