Intuitive Tutoring Co. is hiring. This is company that specializes in working with students with learning differences, as well as supporting students with custom learning plans based on their areas of struggle in school. We commonly work with students who have ADHD & autism, and students who need support with executive functioning skills, as well as subject specific support.
I am looking for experienced educators for the upcoming school year seeking part time hours. I am especially interested in educators who have experience with neurodiverse populations, who can support students with math and/or who can support elementary school student developing math, reading and writing skills.
This is an opportunity to grow with a new company. This would be a great position for someone who is looking to supplement other work or educational pursuits and has flexibility during afterschool hours. It would be a great opportunity to gain skill as an executive functioning coach, as training is available for the right candidate.
Seeking candidates with:
- Compassion & patience
- Experience as an educator and/or a graduate degree in education, psychology, neuropsychology or a related field
- Experience working with neurodiverse students
- Expertise in math and/or expertise in elementary school educational support
- A love of learning and of teaching
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent professional skills
As coaches/tutors will be working one-to-one with students in their homes and schools, I will be requiring a background check as part of the onboarding process.
