Circle A Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our remote team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while making a positive impact on patients' lives. Your responsibilities will include managing patient records, assisting in telehealth consultations, and providing vital support to our pharmacy operations. You will be an integral part of our team, helping to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation in our systems. Responsibilities

Manage and update patient records accurately in electronic health records (EHR) system.
Schedule and confirm appointments for patients through phone and virtual platforms.
Assist healthcare providers during telehealth consultations by obtaining patient history and vital signs as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.
Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely medication refills and address prescription inquiries.
Provide administrative support, including documentation, data entry, and maintaining organized files.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus.
Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment is advantageous.
