Position Summary:

The Product Engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and efficiently providing hardware and product solutions, ensuring that every project meets quality and reliability standards. This role requires a rigorous approach to root cause investigation and methodologies to reduce failure incidents and guarantee customer satisfaction. The engineer serves as the primary technical escalation point for customer systems, ensuring seamless alignment between manufacturing execution and advanced engineering analysis.

Failure Analysis & Root Cause Investigation

Deep Dive Analysis: Interpret system logs, training issues, and debug data to identify failure signatures.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Isolate variables and reproduce failures using structured methods (5 Whys, Ishikawa, Fault Isolation Flows).
Engineering Solutions: Provide clear conclusions and corrective recommendations for systemic platform-level failures

Test Validation & Failure Correlation

Validation: L10/L11 System-Level Analysis, Trend Identification.
Data Analysis: Cross-stage Correlation, FW/HW Revision Tracking.
Quality Control: False Failure Reduction, Test Escape Prevention, Threshold Tuning.
Process: Test Flow Refinement, Validation Criteria.

Troubleshooting Guide (TSG)

Documentation: TSG Development, Debug Workflows, Failure Signatures.
Standardization: Process Consistency, Standardized Resolution.
Knowledge Transfer: Technical Training, Team Enablement.
Continuous Improvement: TSG Updates, Failure Mode Integration.
Technical Escalation & Cross-Functional Debug Support

Technical Escalation & Cross-Functional Debug Support

Role: Primary Engineering Escalation Point.
Stakeholders: HQ Engineering, TE, QA, NPI, Production.
Activities: Defect Containment, Technical Alignment, Failure Review Meetings.
Impact: High-Impact Issue Resolution, Platform Escalations.

Process Improvement & Product Reliability

Methodologies: Yield Improvement, Quality Enhancement.
Engineering: Platform Robustness, Margining, Firmware/Sensor Optimization.
Change Mgmt: Engineering Change Evaluation, Compatibility Validation.

Documentation, Reporting & Communication

Reporting: Technical Summaries, FA Reports, Recommendations.
Collaboration: Cross-site Communication (HQ/TE/QA/PE), Stakeholder Management.
Documentation: Debug Methods, Recurrent Failure Tracking.
Training: Technical Mentorship, Diagnostic Methodology Education.

Candidate Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics.

· 3 years of experience in a related engineering area (debug, validation, testing, or hardware analysis).

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently expose to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, it may require the employee to lift servers occasionally. Some activities required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and some required movement or transportation of material from different places.
