About us

Wellsboro Hotel Company is a small business in Wellsboro, PA. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to provide guests with top-notch service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere of our historic hotel.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments through the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders for customers
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for opening and closing shifts
- Provide recommendations on drink selections to customers based on their preferences

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending required
- Knowledge of MICROS POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of different types of beers, wines, and cocktails
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating tabs, and making change
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
