Full Job Description

Cohutta Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

Compensation: $14-18 per hour, for each hour worked
This is a Flexible, full-time 4/10 schedule, with availability Monday through Friday. No weekends required!

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience required
Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage high call volumes, schedule appointments, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and client service skills with a compassionate, professional approach
- Experience with veterinary practice management software, medical records, and payment processing preferred
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to remain calm and solution-focused during busy periods
