Full Job Description

Pay: Starting at $20.50 per hour

Schedule: Flexible (Part-time, and Per Diem available)

This is in-home care. You'll work one-on-one with a client in their own home on the Blue Hill peninsula (Blue Hill/Brooksville area) — not in a facility or nursing home.

The Role

As a PCA, you are the heartbeat of our service. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes to provide dignity, safety, and companionship. Your day-to-day might include:

Personal Care: Assisting with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) like dressing, bathing, and grooming.
Home Support: Preparing healthy meals, light housekeeping, and keeping the home environment safe.
Independence: Helping with mobility (using assistive devices) and providing transportation for errands or appointments.
Connection: Providing vital companionship and engaging in social activities or memory care support for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
Health Advocacy: Monitoring vitals and keeping clear, simple records of the client's well-being.

What We're Looking For

Heart First: A genuine desire to help others and a reliable, patient personality.
Experience: Previous caregiving experience (in-home care, assisted living, or nursing homes) is a plus, but we will train the right people. This specific role is in-home, one-on-one care.
Skills: Knowledge of memory care, Hoyer lifts, or medication assistance is a bonus!
Requirements: Must be 18+, able to pass a background check, and have a valid driver's license (preferred). Reliable transportation is needed to travel to the client's home on the Blue Hill peninsula.
