You do NOT need to be a solar expert. You do NOT need a college degree. And previous sales experience is helpful—but we are willing to train the right people from the ground up.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Clear Earth Solar is expanding into Emporia, Kansas, and we're looking for motivated people to help us build our local sales team.
Solar is growing rapidly, and homeowners are becoming increasingly interested in ways to reduce and better manage their electricity costs. Our team helps homeowners understand whether solar may be a good fit for their home.
We're looking for 10–20 appointment setters who are ready to get out into the community, talk to homeowners, and create opportunities.
This is a performance-based, 100% commission position. There is no traditional hourly wage, so your earning potential is directly tied to your results.
For highly successful salespeople, this industry can provide significant income. Individual earnings vary based on performance, appointments, sales, territory, and other factors.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Solar Appointment Setter, you'll:
- Go door-to-door throughout the Emporia area.
- Introduce homeowners to Clear Earth Solar.
- Have friendly, professional conversations with homeowners about their electricity costs.
- Identify homeowners who may benefit from exploring solar.
- Offer qualified homeowners a complimentary energy savings report.
- Schedule appointments for one of our solar closers.
- Keep accurate records of your appointments and activity.
- Represent Clear Earth Solar professionally in the community.
- Work toward individual and team performance goals.
You are setting the appointment—not responsible for closing the solar sale. Our closers handle the detailed consultation and sales presentation.

Previous experience in door-to-door sales, telecommunications, roofing, insurance, real estate, automotive, fitness, fundraising, or other commission-based sales can be helpful, but it is not required.

This is a commission-only opportunity designed for people who want their income potential to be based on their performance rather than a fixed hourly wage.
Some high-performing individuals in solar can earn $10,000–$50,000+ per month, but earnings are not guaranteed and vary significantly by individual performance and other factors.
