Full Job Description

**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Managing Supervisor to join our legal team. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Directing Attorney and Case Managers while providing training and support to the team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, experienced in personal injury pre-litigation procedures and comfortable utilizing Filevine, AI tools, Google Sheets, Excel to oversee workflow and team performance.

**Responsibilities:**

Oversee and supervise the daily workflow and performance of pre-lit Case Managers
Serve as the primary liaison between the Directing Attorney and Case Managers
Communicate expectations, workflow updates, and departmental priorities to CMs
Provide guidance, training and support to Case Managers
Assist with managing all types of pre-litigation personal injury matters, including:

Auto vs. auto collisions

Premises liability claims

Dog bite claims

Uber/Lyft and rideshare matters

Government tort claims

Monitor case workflow to ensure timely follow-ups, proper documentation, accurate notation, and deadline compliance
Ensure consistent client communication and high-quality client service
Assist with escalated or complex issues involving liability disputes, property damage, MedPay concerns and client escalations
Ensure accurate documentation, task management, and organization of files
Utilize Filevine, AI tools, Google Sheets, Excel, and Google Docs to improve workflow efficiency and productivity
Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets, workflow trackers, and reporting systems
Monitor outstanding tasks
Conduct quality control reviews of files to ensure records, bills, evidence, insurance information, and settlement documents are complete and organized
Assist attorney with auditing task completion
Assist with onboarding and training new Case Managers
Remain open to direction, collaboration, and feedback from firm leadership
Help foster a positive, organized and team-oriented work environment
Manage and coordinate Case Manager scheduling, attendance, and time-off requests while ensuring adequate departmental coverage
The case managing supervisor may also maintain and manage an individual caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters as needed

**Qualifications:**

5+ years of personal injury case management experience (preferred)
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience (preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Team-oriented; able to lead, inspire and communicate well with others
Time-oriented & highly organized
Passion for helping both clients and co-workers
